VA Majority Makers is a recruitment program that identifies candidates across the Commonwealth who show promise of running successful Republican campaigns and helps equip and fund them for victory.

Eric Cantor

Eric Cantor served as U.S Representative from Virginia’s 7th Congressional District from 2001-2014.  While in Congress, he served as Majority Leader from 2010-2014.   Eric was co-founder of the Young Guns program, which was widely credited with regaining the Republican Majority in the House.  Eric currently serves as Vice Chairman and a Managing Director of Moelis & Company, a global investment bank, where he also serves on the Board of Directors.

Eric holds a B.A. from The George Washington University, a J.D. from The College of William and Mary, and an M.A. from Columbia University. He co-authored the New York Times best-selling book, “Young Guns: A New Generation of Conservative Leaders”.

Garrison Coward

Garrison R. Coward is a native of Richmond, Virginia (born at St. Mary’s Hospital), and a proud product of Henrico County’s Short Pump Middle School and J.R. Tucker High School.  He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College, with a degree in Economics; The George Washington University, with a Master’s degree in Political Management; and received his MBA from The George Washington University’s School of Business.

Garrison is a Managing Director at Merger Partners, Inc. He was previously the Chief Operating Officer of BizCents, a local data analytics firm.  He served as Political Director and Deputy Director of Minority Engagement for the Republican Party of Virginia and later as political advisor and Campaign Manager to Congressman Rob Wittman.  He is the Executive Director of the Conservative Professionals Network, which aims to engage a new generation of center-right thinkers on public-policy matters. Garrison currently serves as a Senior Political Advisor to Virginia’s Governor-Elect Glenn Youngkin.

Aaron Evans

Aaron Evans is President of Winning Republican Strategies (WRS), a national Republican consulting and voter engagement firm based in Central Virginia. Aaron has successfully advised over 100 races since 2005 and has developed a record of winning tough races from state to federal levels in swing districts across the country.

He received his M.Div. in Leadership from Liberty University, has a Master’s Certificate in Documentary Filmmaking from George Washington University, and is a graduate of the Political Leaders Program at the University of Virginia’s Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership. Aaron currently resides in Ruckersville, VA with his wife and 3 sons.

Ron Wright

Ron Wright is Chairman and CEO of software company JNetDirect Incorporated in Reston, Virginia. Prior to JNetDirect, Mr. Wright was Co-Founder and President/CEO of Neuroscan, Inc., a leading neuroscience software and equipment manufacturer which was acquired in 2004. Mr. Wright is an angel investor and serves on the Board of Directors for Intelligence Systems Group, LLC; Sands Research, Inc.; and Megafono Corporation. Recently elected to the Republican Party of Virginia State Central Committee from the 10 th Congressional District, Mr. Wright serves on the RPV Finance Committee.

Ron is Co-Founder and Member of the Steering Committee for the Suburban Virginia Republican Coalition PAC (SUVGOP) and is Co-Chair of the Northern Virginia Republican Business Forum (NVRBF). He is the recipient of the Patrick Henry Award for Outstanding Service to the Commonwealth of Virginia by Governor James Gilmore; was appointed twice to the Board of Directors and served as Treasurer of the Virginia Bio+Tech Partnership Authority; and served two terms on the New York Export Council. Mr. Wright is a graduate of Eisenhower College (Rochester Institute of Technology) with a degree in Public Policy.
